Mr Tooting

Mr Tooting was born and raised in Underbarrow, Cumbria. In his teenage years he moved to Inverness in Scotland, and later to the village of Staveley back in Cumbria. Tooting is the creative force behind the Croftsmen, and is a pedigree performer. The talented all round musician has been a leading light in folk for many years, and has been the defining influence in many of the great special interest folk bands of the last two decades. A talented lyricist and no-nonsense wordsmith, Mr Tooting has recently formed the 'phonetic and simple naming' society of North Lakeland.
