Uncommonly Good
The debut album, this is where it all began. 'Uncommonly
Good' was released to great approval from folk music fans everywhere.
The album sets out its stall from track one, with 'Uncle Raymond'
- a rousing modern folk anthem for a generation. There were many
other hits on the album, 'Now I'm the Grandad', 'Ahh...' and 'Ready
Rubbed' all going on to become Croftsmen classics.
Sadly 'Uncommonly Good' is no longer available, though
if you're very lucky you may find the odd copy at folk fairs or
on ebay.
